Shino

Description

This glaze, like the woodfire Shino glazes of Asia, has an orange-peel texture and a warm brown color. Creates varied surface effects when layered over our other Potter’s Choice glazes.

Shino needs to be applied irregularly. Apply two irregular coats. Once you have used it awhile you will see the effects you can get by varying the application.
