Crystalline Glaze Firing Schedules:
There is no such thing as a foolproof firing schedule for crystalline glazes, but here is a good place to start for Cone 5:

  • Ramp 250?F per hour to 1250?F; no hold
  • Ramp 350?F per hour to 2140?F; no hold
  • Ramp 25?F per hour to 2165?F; no hold
  • Cool Down (naturally or utilize 9999 command on Skutt?s KM Controller) to 1950?F; hold for 3 hours
  • OFF
