P-1 Black Pearl is a fluid, gray-black glaze with iridescent mottling where thick.

Application Tips: 

• 3 brush coats recommended.
  • If you apply the glaze heavily, 2 coats will also work.
• Underapplication will result in a dry glaze with no crystals.
• Overapplication will cause a rough appearance.
  • Can also lead to heavier flow.

Layers well over AMACO Celedon , other Potter's Choice, and Satin Matte glazes. Glaze layering fired results may run if paired with a runny glaze. Apply receding coats when layering to help with runniness of final fired result. We recommend testing any layering combination before applying it to a full ceramic piece. 

Fire to cone 6 when used alone or layered for results similar to AMACO imagery.
